The BMW R1200C was a distinctive cruiser motorcycle produced from 1997 to 2004, designed to blend BMW’s engineering heritage with the American-style cruiser market. Powered by a 1,170 cc air- and oil-cooled flat-twin “boxer” engine making around 61 hp, it stood out with its unique styling, exposed telelever front suspension, shaft drive, and extensive chrome detailing. Unlike traditional cruisers, it emphasized comfort, smooth torque delivery, and refined handling over raw power, which earned it a cult following but also divided opinions. The model gained pop culture fame after appearing in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies, yet its unconventional looks and modest performance meant it was discontinued after a relatively short run, making it something of a collectible oddity today.

The model on offer here is in generally very good condition. The wind screen and panniers are included. Service invoices are available too.
