The Honda VF1000R is a sports bike produced from 1984 to 1986. It was one of Honda's top models at the time and was seen as a direct competitor of the Yamaha FJ1100 and the Kawasaki GPZ900R.

The VF1000R featured a 998cc V4 engine with double overhead camshafts, which was derived from Honda's endurance racing bike, the VF750F. The engine had an output of about 122 hp and was coupled to a six-speed gearbox. The VF1000R also featured adjustable Pro-Link rear suspension, a fairing ventilation system to improve airflow and an adjustable front fork.

A notable feature of the VF1000R was the use of Honda's revolutionary V-4 engine design, first introduced in the VF750F in 1983. This engine design used four cylinders in a V-shaped arrangement, rather than the traditional inline four-cylinder engine. The V-4 engine design improved the engine's performance and provided a smoother and more responsive power delivery.

The VF1000R was popular with motorcyclists for its powerful performance and racing history. The model was often used in Superbike World Championship races and was regarded as one of the fastest and best performing sports bikes of its time. The model is now a sought-after collector's item among motorcycle enthusiasts and collectors.

The model we offer here is still completely original and exceptionally well maintained, making it look even better than new (if possible).
