While Honda initially had always preferred twin-cylinder engines for capacaties above 250cc, the North American demand for single-cylinder off-road motorcycles made Honda (and its Japanese rivals) manufacture singles in capacities of 500cc and upwards. This eventually led to the development of purely road-going derivatives. One of the most interesting of these new Hondas was the XBR500 of 1985, with a very 'retro' styling, a dry-sump radial four-valve engine and an electric starter.
This restored XBR 500 is in very good condition and original.
